Does anybody know of studies about the benefits of fish tanks on human health?

We’d like to install a fish tank in our hospice, but the administrators are saying it’s a waste of money. Is there any evidence we can put in our proposal that could show economic or quantifiable health impacts?

I have written an article that contains many researched sources in case you need more ammo. Please contact me for a copy of it. Eileen@dreamcatcherassociation.com i am trying to add it to the resource list here too but am new to it. Good luck!

I found this really useful. The end conclusion is exactly what we needed: “This study demonstrated that the aquariums held the AD individual’s interest and resulted in an increase in nutritional intake at mealtimes, an increase in body weight, and a decrease in the use of nutritional supplements.” Thanks, Christopher. Keep your fingers crossed for us as we try and persuade the admins. Thanks, HABRI Central!
