Equine Assisted Interventions: A Therapeutic Approach

Category: Workshop
Description:

Objectives:

Understand educational preparations necessary to conduct safe equine assisted sessions.
Be able to identify how the signs of relaxation horses exhibit complement and enhance self-growth work.
Experience an equine assisted activity that you can implement into your practice.
Intrigued by Equine Assisted Interventions? Come and join us for a look into how horses pair with self-growth work, including the opportunity to experience it for yourself.

We will start with an introduction into basic concepts of equine assisted interventions, as well as share the approach we use at Hidden Promise. During lunch, there will be an opportunity for discussion, so bring your questions! After lunch, there will be a hands-on horse experience focusing on mindfulness. No horse experience needed.
