A new study finds that babies who live in homes with pets are less likely to get colds, respiratory infections & ear infections.This supports other research that has showed that unless there is a specific allergy to that animal, that having animals in the house from birth can actually protect kids from developing asthma, allergies, or certain other illnesses.
