__Responsibilities: __Will be assigned to work in the Antelope or River’s Edge area as needed. Major tasks include cleaning and maintaining habitats, barns, and service areas; continual monitoring of habitats and visitor areas with attention to detail; feeding and

watering of animals; providing assistance in restraining animals for veterinary management and research purposes; participating in the use of behavioral conditioning to train species for husbandry/research

purposes; maintaining departmental records; and working on special projects as needed.

__Qualifications: __Bachelor’s degree in an animal-related field and previous keeper experience preferred. Previous experience working with elephants desired. Must have the physical ability to perform required duties as assigned, including standing for long periods of time, lifting, bending and working in all types of weather

conditions. Good keeper safety record required. Diver certification a plus.
