Prescott Animal Hospital (PAH) is Prescott’s first veterinary hospital.  As the American Animal Hospital Association’s Hospital of the Year 2014, we're proud to say that the doctors and staff of PAH remain dedicated to providing advanced veterinary medical care for a wide variety of animals.  Through our attention to detail, passion for further education and our commitment to our clients, we pride ourselves on the development of future leaders in this profession. Our high standard of care is accomplished by an award-winning support staff of approximately 45 people.  As we move through our eigth decade, we continue to increase the size of our staff along with the scope of services to meet the expanding needs of our clients and patients. 

We are excited to announce that we have begun development of our new Companion Animal Center which will open in Spring 2018! 

We are currently looking for an experienced full-time veterinarian to integrate into our progressive 8 doctor, AAHA-accredited hospital. Primary practice will be in companion animal general surgery, preventative medicine, diagnostic and daytime emergency care.  PAH is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital dental radiology, laser therapy, in-house laboratory, in-house and an online pharmacy.  Our new building allows for the expansion of our existing services to include rehabilitation and veterinary physical therapy. Our well-established practice offers a loyal clientele, high case volume, and a professional, well-educated support staff. We are also focused on becoming a Feline-Friendly practice and Fear Free Certified. 

 

A high degree of emotional intelligence, self-awareness and first-class people skills are essential.  Foundation of good surgical skills expected; opportunity for technique advancement provided.  Veterinarian must attend and participate in weekly staff meetings and training, thus improving the overall performance of our practice.  Effective communication with support staff as well as providing education and communication with clients is necessary.  Team oriented, fresh ideas, a degree of business acumen and a driving passion for veterinary medicine essential.
