Hay Day Ranch is built on the faith and hope of Susan Hingst, a Virginia based teacher, horse enthusiast and child advocate; and is the realization of a vision and dream.

The Ranch is the realization of Susan’s vision to combine rescue horses in equine assisted learning to restore emotional ties and trust in both the horses and youth.

Susan has a certification of completion in equine assisted learning from the Greg Kersten OK Corral Series; and received mentoring and support generously provided by Wing of Hope Ranch. In turn, Hay Day Ranch also provides training to all volunteer helpers.
Our desire is create an environment where God’s unconditional love and acceptance is modeled to all who visit. We believe that by using horses, God provides hope and healing. Hay Day ranch is a 501c3 nonprofit faith based organization that brings together horses and children so that each can learn to trust once again.  Download a copy of our Brochure.
