Abstract

We began in 1979 with Chris McParland, Adaptive PE teacher at Jessie Baker School. From humble beginnings with a few students, some portable fencing and horses borrowed by the day, we have grown to serve over 600 students in the greater Sacramento area.

Project R.I.D.E. Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit institution that provides therapeutic recreational horseback riding instruction to people with special needs.
