Abstract

Great Oak Aiken Therapeutic Riding Center (GOATRC) is located at Great Oak, a 20-acre farm five minutes from downtown Aiken, South Carolina. GOATRC is a reconfigured 501(3)(c) organization that was formerly known as STAR Riding. GOATRC is an affiliate of PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship).

GOATRC is designed to promote certified Therapeutic Riding for children and adults with physical, emotional, and psychological challenges. Partnerships are being established with area organizations to connect Great Oak’s services with those who need them most.
