New Book Chapters from Temple University Press

Thanks to the generosity of Temple University Press, the HABRI Central library now contains several new book chapters from leading authors in the field. Among those included are sections from Blue Juice: Euthanasia in Veterinary Medicine by Patricia Morris, Filling the Ark: Animal Welfare in Disasters by Leslie Irvine, Just a Dog: Understanding Animal Cruelty and Ourselves by Arnold Arluke, and Putting the Horse before Descartes: My Life’s Work on Behalf of Animals by Bernard Rollins. These chapters represent not only excellent work in the field of human-animal interaction, but also Temple University Press’s commitment to supporting it through the promotion of digital scholarship and open access initiatives.
