Summit for Urban Animal Strategies

Category: Workshop
Description: The prestigious International Summit for Urban Animal Strategies is held each October just before CanWest (ABVMA Vet Conference), in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada. One Hundred Thought Leaders are selected by their peers to represent each sector of the Urban Animal Industry. Beginning Wednesday evening, Summit elements are designed to facilitate the discussion of issues, showcase innovation, establish strategy, develop relationships and monitor important industry metrics. The Summit Awards Gala on Friday evening honours top level achievers selected using an academy style system of voting to deliver the 2014 Summit Awards in 12 important areas. Finally, the Saturday morning leadership breakfast inspires and prepares delegates to deliver change within their organizations. Our Vision is to gather leaders who advance the state of the art and recast dilemmas into opportunities. Our Mission is to illuminate successful strategies for urban animals and to provide recognition for those who lead.
