Evening of Animals as Therapy

Description: The event will be held in honor of The Nexus School, which is devoted to educating children within the autism spectrum. From 5 to 7pm the public can meet patient and loving “four-leggeds” who make a difference in young people’s lives and the humans who train and care for these animals. Presentations starting at 5:30 pm include Mark Zebrowski and his five therapy Labrador retrievers, David Parnes and Billie the Therapy Dog, Special Equestrians equine therapy in Warrington and special guest Vicki West, director of The Nexus School. The event is free, but donations to the pet food drive are requested for the Bucks County SPCA in Lahaska. Cash and canned and paté dog and cat food will be accepted. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages served, with small gifts for contributors and give-aways for all who attend.
