Zoobiquity 6 Conference

Category: Conference
Description:

Zoobiquity springs from a simple but revelatory fact: Animals and humans get the same diseases, yet physicians and veterinarians rarely consult with one another. Zoobiquity explores how human and non-human animal commonalities can be used to diagnose, treat, and heal patients of all species. Drawing on the latest in medical and veterinary science—as well as evolutionary and molecular biology—Zoobiquity proposes an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to physical and behavioral health.
Join Us Saturday, April 2, 2016, in Philadelphia as leading clinicians and scientists in both veterinary and human medicine examine the connections between animal and human health. Experts in veterinary and human medicine are often confronted with similar clinical challenges and shared diagnoses. Zoobiquity Conference 6 is designed to foster conversations and collaborations that can lead to new ways to diagnose, model, and treat diseases in all species.

When: Saturday 02 April, 2016, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm EDT
