8th International Conference on Wildlife Fertility Control

The 8th International Conference on Wildlife Fertility Control includes 3 days of intellectual exchange, lunches, welcome reception, dinner and breaks along with the opportunity to travel to Assateague Island National Seashore.

This year, for the first time, this conference will be hosted and sponsored primarily by the recently launched Botstiber Institute for Wildlife Fertility Control, a partnership between The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and the Dietrich W. Botstiber Foundation (DWBF).

The conference will be held at the Kellogg Conference Hotel at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. to encourage attendance and participation of federal agencies and legislators seeking to learn about current wildlife fertility control research and how these methods could be applied to manage wildlife populations in the U.S. 

Hear from scientists over a range of disciplines related to wildlife fertility control
Participate in dialogue about practical tools and applications with a diverse audience
Travel to Assateague Island National Seashore and observe a historic and culturally significant herd of wild horses managed by fertility control*
