AAP Vs. AAT? Hmmmmmm .....

    Reading through some previous posts, I noticed the following comment by Melanie Jones: " As a Psychologist and AAI practitioner, some of what I am doing in sessions is NOT AAP, it is more accurately described as AAT"

    I was wondering, Melanie, what you meant by this statement. What do you understand to be the difference between the two? My approach (as in the article I posted here a while back and I have attached to this message) is that AAT is simply an umbrella term for all therapies that incorporate animals into their practice. 

    Maybe we could have a discussion of this here. Reactions, anyone?
