    Eileen is a psychologist who has been practicing for more than 20 years with hard to reach populations. She moved her practice to a ranch in Ardrossan, Alberta, Canada 9 years ago and has a thriving animal and nature assisted therapy program. Eileen is the leader of the Canadian Task Force on Animal Assisted Therapy, attempting to get the field standardized and regulated in the country. She is also the designer and implementer of the first English speaking College course on Animal Assisted Therapy in Canada which is offered at Lakeland College in Vermillion, Alberta. Currently, Eileen is writing the first English speaking certificate in Animal Assisted Therapy which will be offered to Master's level mental health professionals through an Albertan University.
