Walking a dog won't make your child fitter, but it can give them a healthier start

A new study shows that children who live with or walk with dogs are no less likely to be obese than children who don't, despite the relationship that exists between adults who own dogs and the likeliness of them meeting exercise guidelines set by the WHO. However, children living with and walking with dogs may promote the adoption of positive health behaviors.
