Exceptional Equestrians began in 1999 with just one dedicated therapist, a single horse and a few children riding outdoors as weather permitted. We have grown into an independent non-profit organization that provides comprehensive year-round equine-assisted services to more than 100 clients of all ages and disabilities annually.

Exceptional Equestrians provides hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, adaptive riding and equestrian assisted learning to children, teens and adults with physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs. Through the dedication of our experienced staff, committed volunteers and generous donors, we have developed one of the most comprehensive equine-assisted therapy programs of its kind in Northeast Wisconsin.
