The STARPups Program is a one of kind animal assisted therapy team. We rescue very special animals and put them into a training program that transfers them into STARPups!
The STARPups Program is a division of STARS Mentoring Services, LLC. Our animal assisted therapy program is a unique program that was created specifically to provide assistance to the children and families we work with. Our trained therapy teams provide service and visits to schools, hospitals, group homes and private residences.
Our treatment team volunteers provide exceptional support to their clients and to their pet partner. Many of the volunteers who make up the treatment teams are both foster parents to the therapy STARPups! Our STARPups Program Coordinator works to make sure the best match is made when arranging services and visits to families and children in need. |
