Are robotic-pets capable of taking care of hospitalized children? Robotic-pets that emulate the shapes and processes of life elicit in children feelings and emotions similar to real family animals mainly dogs. Robotic-pet based interventions to improve young patients quality of live of have been implemented with promising results. Careful exploitation of children proneness to affiliate with life and its representations could be an amazing source of enjoyment and wellbeing in pediatric hospitals.
