Abstract

A specially trained German Shepherd that attacked and mauled to death a six-year-old boy in Oak Grove, Kentucky on Sunday has been euthanized. The child and his family were visiting the home of a Fort Campbell Soldier who used the dog for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. According to police reports, the dog attacked the boy in the yard of the home.
