Agape serves all kinds of individuals and groups including families with special needs, at-risk children and youth, and seniors. We have programs specifically designed for schools, churches, senior communities, veterans, and community centers. Experience something unlike anything before.
Our programs are designed to meet the needs of individuals and groups. Lessons are facilitated by PATH certified instructors to inspire emotional, cognitive, social, and physical growth through interactive and engaging activities with horses.
Therapeutic riding is mounted horseback riding for the purpose of contributing positively to the cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of people with disabilities through the teaching of horsemanship skills. There are many wonderful benefits to therapeutic riding:
Carriage driving offers participants the rewards of interacting with a horse or pony while driving from a carriage – either in the carriage seat or in their own wheelchair. Driving is particularly beneficial for individuals who may not be able to ride due to balance, strength, or weight.
For groups of 5-20 participants, Stirrup Success is an Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) program. Weekly lessons include unique and engaging activities with horses that teach character development and reinforce life skills  such as communication, confidence, emotional identification and regulation, teamwork, trust, respect, responsibility, integrity, and perseverance. Stirrup Success is great for organizations.
Memory Lane is an Equine Facilitated Learning program designed for aging adults. While we typically bring miniature horses to you, partner organizations can also visit Agape.
Our leadership and team-building workshops utilize the power of the horse to generate opportunities for significant, tangible change in individual and team performance.
We invite you to explore our farm with your group! Meet our horses, visit with our chickens, take a hike in the woods, and explore the garden. With more than 13 acres to explore, there is plenty of space to dream and learn.
Able to travel to wherever you are by “mini” van, Agape miniature horses, staff and volunteers bring the fun to you. Our Mini Visits are unique experiences adaptable for all ages.
