Tri-State Canine Response Team is a non-profit organization, serving NJ, PA, and DE, which is dedicated to providing certified and trained handler/dog teams for Animal Assisted Activities, Animal Assisted Therapy and Animal Assisted Crisis Response Teams to children, families, neighborhoods, and communities that are in crisis, and also support First Responders, providing emotional support and aid. Teams will comfort victims of disaster, catastrophe, or violence fostering resilience and self-efficacy.

We hope to achieve these goals through our activities which include: - Call-out or responses to a crisis, acute or long-term - Training simulations to prepare the teams for crisis situations - Community events where we will deliver presentations, get to know our community and raise awareness about our mission and resources. The response team for each call-out or encounter, will be led by a group/team leader, who will be responsible for the teams as defined by the guidelines of the organization. The response team will be made up of handler/canine teams based upon suitability, availability and experience, as well as compliance with the handbook guidelines.
