Abstract

In 2010 our founder, Denise Avolio, began Access Equestrian with a lifetime of horsemanship and adaptive riding experience and a desire to provide individualized programming in a beautiful location.  In 2013, we received our 501.c.3 not-for-profit status and today run program from our beautiful and private facility at in Yorktown Heights, NY.

The journey five years ago with one horse, one instructor, and a handful of clients, and have grown to have seven wonderful therapy horses and hold approximately one hundred sessions per week.  While our program may continue to grow, our desire to serve and further our mission is insatiable. We look forward to continuing doing what we love here at Access Equestrian and are excited to see what the future has in store for us.
