Abstract

Rainbow Riders is a not-for-profit, therapeutic horseback riding program for individuals with special needs.  We are located in a peaceful setting on Bowman Meadow Farm, just outside the city limits of Monmouth, Illinois.  Rainbow Riders was founded in 2005. The mission of Rainbow Riders is to provide safe, professional and affordable therapeutic horseback riding and un-mounted horsemanship opportunities that contribute positively to the physical, cognitive, emotional and social well being of children and adults with special needs, to promote a healthier community.
