Abstract

AUNTY JIA JIA (CHONG SIEW CHIN) , the founder of the non-profit organization Persatuan Perlindungan dan Peliharaan Haiwan Terbiar Skudai - Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.). She began to rescue stray animals in 2007. From early beginnings of 120 furkids, H.O.P.E. is now home to over 2000 furkids. She advocates rehoming of the canines and felines she takes in and also promotes the spaying and neutering of dogs in her community. Seeing them healthy, happy and running around freely is her biggest motivation.
