The Takoda Service Dogs mission is to breed, raise and professionally train service dogs to be provided at no cost to disabled military veterans and first responders with PTSD and other disabilities; to educate the public on the need for professionally trained service dogs, the laws that apply to service dogs, and how to help service dogs do their work; and to advocate for national standards for service dogs and military support of service dogs as a key therapeutic resource for military veterans.
