Abstract

Paws Assisting Veterans is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Veterans suffering from mental and/or physical disabilities through trained service dogs, empowering them and their families to achieve lifelong successes and to pave their way home. PAVE trains service dogs for disabled Veterans and  facility dogs for professionals who serve active duty and Veteran populations.  Paws Assisting Veterans also works to advance public knowledge of service dogs and the essential roles they play. PAVE provides free PTSD service dogs and training to Veterans.
