Abstract

The author responds to commentaries on his original paper noting that "The paper is about questions, not answers. The orthodoxanswer in urban animal management — responsible pet ownership — is really the target of the naturalistic perspective. The paper requests urban authorities to always ask “What if?” ratherthan implementing policies uncritically."
