About the organization

Brain & Behavior Research Foundation

About the organization

The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, formerly the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression (NARSAD), is a nonprofit (501c3) organization that focuses on mental health research. The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation focuses its research primarily on eight of the most common mental illnesses in the United States and other developed countries—schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, autism, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR)

About the organization

NIDDR provides leadership and support for a comprehensive program of research related to the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities. Their mission is to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities from birth through adulthood.
